In a time of increasing geopolitical unrest, fake news and polarised narratives, we think it’s a crucial time to state and reiterate our commitment to mutual respect and a ‘do no harm’ approach. It’s important that we give the work we support the best chance of success, while protecting the reputation of our organisation and its members.
Conservation Collective’s mission is to drive funding to grassroots and community-led initiatives that protect and restore nature, reduce pollution, and build climate resilience. We are guided by our values of positivity, inclusion, openness and collaboration.
Our work involves stakeholders from different backgrounds from all over the world, all of whom reflect their own independent views holding a myriad of their own personal, religious, and political opinions.
While we cannot separate the wellbeing of people from the health of our planet and we’re heartbroken by the humanitarian crises globally, we remain focused on using our voice and resources on our environmental mission, where we can make the most meaningful difference.
