Devon Environment Foundation has awarded another round of grants to some excellent local organisations! The projects which they have chosen to support are:
- Bug Recovery Network: Monitoring, analysing and restoring pollinator habitats
- Torbay Seabed Regeneration: Recovering discarded fishing gear from the seabed
- South Hams Marine Life Rescue: Increasing the reach and movability of rescue kits for stranded and entangled marine mammals
- Yealm Estuary to Moor: Water and terrestrial monitoring for a project linking fragmented habitats along the River Yealm to form a riparian wildlife corridor
We are thrilled to report that since its launch nearly two years ago, DEF has supported a total of 26 grassroots projects to address the climate and nature emergencies in Devon, awarding more than £310,000 of grants.
