Lamu Environment Foundation has just published its first newsletter of the year where it presents its latest grantees:

–Beekeeping to enhance ecosystem restoration and alternative livelihoods across Lamu’s mangrove communities: £47,000 awarded

–Building capacity of beach management units (BMUs) to encourage sustainable fishing involving youth groups: £6,400 awarded

–Practical permaculture design course: £4,200 awarded
