Conservation Collective September Newsletter

Two weeks ago, we brought together friends, family and the directors of our foundations in Lamu, Devon, Greece, Malta and Scotland for an evening hosted by LOVE BRAND & CO in London. Each gave a quick-fire five-minute speech celebrating hopeful stories of local nature regeneration.

The solutions we fund are often simple but led by passionate individuals dedicated to healing nature in the place they call home. We share hopeful stories to show that there is great work going on, ready to flourish with the support of funding, energy, and interconnectivity.

This newsletter includes:

  • Tales from the Field, an evening hosted by LOVE BRAND & CO in London
  • Malta Environment Foundation‘s First Grants, ACT and Żibel, two Maltese environmental organizations, are making a difference in protecting and restoring Malta’s ecosystems.
  • Exciting developments at the Lanka Environment Fund, including $600k in funding, new leadership, and their expanding Cleaner Seabeds Initiative.
  • Project updates from Conservation Collective’s local foundations, including a responsible consumption guide in Sicily, Aldourie Castle event in the Scottish Highlands, and Ben’s journey into environmental conservation —a cause he believes should top the priority list for philanthropists.
