We are hiring – Trustee (expertise in PR, communications or journalism)

As we grow Conservation Collective, we’re looking for a new Trustee to join the existing board to help us improve how we grow our network, maintaining flexibility as an opportunistic and entrepreneurial organisation whilst ensuring we manage reputational risks and drive programmatic integrity to raise more funds, spend it well and deliver great impact, and comply with our legal responsibilities as a Registered Charity.

Role of the Trustee (PR, communications or journalism expert)

One of our key activities is to speak with a collective voice on behalf of our network – amplifying the local stories on a global platform, to boost the local impact. Through events, newsletters, press and social media we’re hoping to engage new high net worth audiences to create a wider pool of private donors for our members. We also want to capitalise on the amazing potential of our corporate partnerships, to reach new audiences. 

 

Requirements

• An expert in public relations, corporate & strategic communications, journalism or similar.
• A knowledge of the main publications we should be targeting.
• Access to a network of global contacts with expertise in these issues
• A belief in and passion for our approach.
